Making pots at home: Amy

Yey! Yeah between the course I did last month and these online courses it’s been a bit of a mental life saver having something to do with my hands and brain.

One of our first e-tasters didn’t travel too far. We dropped the kit off at Duke Studios on Friday. Three days later Amy Heycock showed us her gorgeous slab built pot! I miss having people at the studio but am buoyed by your home makes.

Amy also took a few pictures of our smaller pottery making packages.

When I became a ceramist, and then setup Sunken Studio, I didn’t expect to be wrapping clay to make it look a bit like a book. However, at the beginning of the year it was on our brainstorm, & 9 months later here we are.

I quite like the idea of these thumping onto doormats. Boom! Your clay journey starts here!
