Studio Life: Our Big Move

We have moved… 

We’ve not gone far, our shiny new studio is a stone’s throw away from our old studio on Carlisle Road!

On Monday 5th October we switched locations. No pause, just one massive push. Our last course at Carlisle Road finished at 17:30 on Sunday 4th October. Our first course at Butterley Street began at 12:30 on Monday 5th October 2020.

Sounds impossible? We’d been shuttling bits and pieces to the new studio for a couple of weeks. We installed some monolithic storage for all the stuff that you don’t need to see.

There are windows you can see out of, skylights, a concrete floor, electrics that can cope with our demands and… a heater!

Access is at street level. There are managed car parks nearby. On street parking is limited - please allow plenty of time. The studio is a 10 minute walk from the City Centre, easily accessed by public transport & you can get the water taxi from Leeds Train Station to Leeds Dock. The studio is a short walk from Leeds Dock, Sheaf St. (Duke Studios), The Tetley & The Royal Armouries.
