TubeClay is the real deal. Clay used by potters to make pots. Doing what clay does best: be plastic, be contrary, and be able to withstand high temperatures - up to 1280°C. TubeClay is Sunken Studio’s house clay. We know it well and we will fire the pieces you make from it.

TubeClay is:

— Approximately 1.7kg of stoneware clay.

— Chopsticks, a toothpick and sandpaper to make basic modelling tools.

— A Manifest: the form you must submit, along with payment, to access firings and our glaze service.

— Access to our Clay Basics e-course. We’ll introduce you to how clay behaves and misbehaves. Beyond that, you’re on your own! Enrol on receipt of the tube. You’ll need your TubeClay ID code - it’s in the tube.
