Next year’s studio-based pottery making courses are now on the website. We’ve added a few new things too.

Level 0

Throwing: Get to grips with the Potter’s wheel, 4 week course

Throwing: Taster, half-day

Handbuilding: Start constructing slab pots, 4 week course

Handbuilding: Start building coil pots, 4 week course

Level 1

Throwing: Start making mugs, 4 week course

Throwing: Start making bowls, 4 week course

Handbuilding: Make more slab pots, 4 week course and weekend courses available

We’ve been finalising the details on our next e-course: Start making coil pots. We’ve got a few kits ready to go & the course will go live next week.

Membership Updates

We have also made a few changes to our memberships and subscriptions. We’ve now have a Community Membership package.

Community Membership is a quarterly subscription providing access to standard firing services and glazes. Includes access to glaze and pottery surgeries, priority invitations to events and a 10% discount on Sunken Studio courses and products.
